Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI) with transformative potential
- Design proof-of-concept projects for next-gen solutions with 18-24 month implementation horizons
- Partner with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Present technology strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry partnerships
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and future-readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching future-focused technologies (e.g., quantum computing deployments)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on future technologies preferred
