Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to translate tech capabilities into revenue streams
- Manage $15M+ innovation budgets across 3 core R&D labs
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA JPL
- Present futuristic technology frameworks to Fortune 500 clients
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 100+ filings by 2026
- Mentor a 20-person team of PhD researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record in scaling quantum/AI initiatives to commercial viability
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing SBIR grants and DoD contracts
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit design
- Global network of 500+ tech innovators and venture capitalists
