Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026+ impact potential
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders through data-driven scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Drive R&D prioritization and resource allocation for next-generation innovation initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and competitive positioning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities with tools like Python, R, or specialized foresight platforms
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFM) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future technology implementations
