- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-integration, spatial web)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to deploy future-ready digital transformation strategies
- Author white papers on technology's societal impact for peer-reviewed journals
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental tech incubation projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum applications
- Proven track record scaling tech initiatives from concept to global deployment
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Certification in Sustainable Technology Design (STDP) from IEEE
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of at least three commercialized future-tech products
