Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps integrating R&D, product, and go-to-market strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning, technology forecasting methodologies, and patent landscape analysis
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into business strategy
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD) or equivalent experience
- Certification in innovation management or technology foresight (e.g., CFTE, CEFP) preferred
