Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype emerging technologies
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships
- Present future tech forecasts to C-suite and investors
- Patent at least 3 disruptive innovations annually
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in next-gen tech domains
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 3+ at director level
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of securing R&D funding
- Patent portfolio with minimum 5 granted patents
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese (for APAC markets)
