Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to anticipate technological disruptions and opportunities
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and validation of next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI measurement
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market dynamics
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Certifications in technology management or strategic foresight (e.g., CTO, CFRO, CFTE)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and R&D pipelines
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management expertise
