Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 5-year business objectives and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical factors affecting future tech adoption
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological impact and ROI
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or Business Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven experience developing multi-year tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong executive communication skills with C-suite presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, CFS) required
- Portfolio demonstrating previous 2020+ technology predictions that materialized
