Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (Web4, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for futuristic innovation projects
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on next-generation technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, decentralized AI, or climate-tech
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., Nature Technology, IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience leading multi-million dollar R&D initiatives with measurable ROI
- Proficiency in scenario modeling and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem and academic institutions
