Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026+
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite executives and product councils
- Establish KPIs for measuring future technology adoption and ROI
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven experience with emerging technology assessment and forecasting
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- MBA or Master's in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Track record of developing successful technology roadmaps
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
