Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, blockchain, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and emerging technology assessments for executive decision-making
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and investors
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture
- Oversee technology ethics and sustainability frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching disruptive tech products
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and future forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial modeling and ROI analysis skills
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CTO Academy, Stanford LEAD)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation
