Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating IoT, blockchain, and neural interfaces into scalable business solutions
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions and market shifts affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop patent strategies and innovation frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor technology teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record developing and executing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML governance, quantum computing applications, Web3 ecosystems, or biotech convergence
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams in agile environments
- Prior success in commercializing futuristic technologies (e.g., launched 3+ products with >$100M revenue)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (Harvard Business Review/MIT Press preferred)
