Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, biotech convergence, decentralized systems)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Produce evidence-based forecasts using trend analysis, scenario planning, and competitive intelligence
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions with pilot programs
- Represent Nexus at global tech forums and publish thought leadership in industry publications
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends with tangible business impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning tools and futures research methodologies
- Strong data literacy with proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Python)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
