Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and integrate next-gen technologies (quantum AI, AR/VR, biotech interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure R&D funding and justify strategic technology investments
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global tech summits
- Mentor internal talent in emerging technology methodologies
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 2020s tech innovation track record
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience leading cross-continental R&D teams and managing $5M+ innovation budgets
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible tech deployment
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
