Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for The 2026 Protocol, ensuring scalability, security, and future-proofing.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, and data scientists to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Architect resilient, high-performance distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating emerging technologies (e.g., neuromorphic computing) for potential integration.
- Oversee system integration, deployment pipelines, and real-time monitoring processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or architecture role.
- Deep expertise in modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems under high load.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and foundational concepts in quantum algorithms is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
