Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts with 18-24 month deployment horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with transformative potential
- Develop patentable innovations and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and investors to secure resources
- Mentor innovation fellows and establish KPIs for technology adoption metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with measurable impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for speculative technology initiatives
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
