What You'll Do:
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating next-gen tech into enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with VPs of Engineering to build 2026 technology adoption roadmaps
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budgets through data-driven proposals
- Present future technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, AGI)
- Design technology adoption scenarios for 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Develop KPI frameworks for measuring future technology ROI
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists and build innovation talent pipeline
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in future tech
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Published research on emerging technology adoption
- Global network of technology innovators and researchers
