Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-digital interfaces) and assess market viability for 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite vision and industry disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging engineering, data science, and product development teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Present future technology frameworks to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption and advise on mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior strategists and build a pipeline of future-ready talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching tech roadmaps with measurable market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in trend forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for strategic initiatives
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management (SIM) or equivalent
