Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap across AI, quantum computing, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to develop patent-pending future technologies
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Manage a $50M innovation budget with measurable ROI targets
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech consortiums
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD researchers and engineers
- Ensure ethical implementation of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching transformative technologies valued at $100M+
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
