Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, and climate tech to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders using scenario modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions with 5-10 year implementation horizons
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and investment theses
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and innovation management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on market shifts
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to synthesize complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
