Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks to map future scenarios and innovation pathways
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Champion human-centered design principles to ensure solutions address evolving user needs and behaviors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data visualization
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Oversee development of innovation roadmaps with 5-year strategic planning horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles within tech/industry
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights
- Experience developing and implementing innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
