You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to shape our 5-year innovation pipeline while mentoring a cross-functional team of futurists and designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2028
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Design and facilitate immersive foresight workshops with Fortune 500 clients
- Author whitepapers on future-proof business models and human-AI collaboration
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of academic, governmental, and industry futurist partners
- Translate complex futures insights into actionable product roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating futures insights into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership on human-centered technological evolution
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Shell Foresight, Millenium Project)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused product launches or policy frameworks
