Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends to build comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing products and services
- Develop executive-level strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with long-term business objectives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to capture cutting-edge insights
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to the board and senior leadership
- Mentor innovation teams in design thinking, scenario planning, and agile methodologies
- Drive culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or similar) strongly preferred
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$5M and leading distributed global teams
