Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive forces
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps with actionable milestones for 2026 market positioning
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Establish KPIs to track innovation maturity and ROI of strategic initiatives
- Build external partnerships with research institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Mentor talent in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, Technology Policy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic innovation projects
