Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into strategic roadmaps and innovation priorities
- Present trend analyses and future scenarios to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Translate foresight into product development and market entry strategies
- Oversee the creation of 'Future Impact Assessments' for major initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and socio-economic drivers
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented strategies
