Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI ethics frameworks and quantum computing protocols
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Author thought leadership publications and patent novel tech integration methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build external partnerships with academic institutions
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in journals like Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI alignment, and climate tech convergence
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Mapping, System Dynamics)
