Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technology trends with 3-5 year predictive accuracy
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future scenarios and disruption mitigation
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting tech evolution
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic tech consulting or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting industry disruptions (e.g., blockchain, generative AI)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their business applications
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author or speaker at TED/WEF/IEEE conferences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
