Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies with quantifiable impact projections
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to identify disruption vectors across industries
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for R&D collaboration
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Oversee the creation of patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build a cross-functional innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, or sustainable tech
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences

- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
