You'll lead high-stakes projects spanning AI ethics, quantum supremacy, and biotech convergence while mentoring the next generation of futurists.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal/business impact through 2026
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps with 15+ year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and global stakeholders
- Author thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Technology Forecasting, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Published author in Future Studies or Technology Review
- Expertise in exponential technology convergence patterns
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience advising UN/G20 technology policy initiatives
