Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-10 year strategic impact
- Develop future-forward technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities beyond 2026
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Author white papers and thought leadership on technology evolution
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social trends affecting tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 90%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing of tech portfolios
- Proficiency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
