- Develop and maintain 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive industry transformations
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference presentations, and industry reports
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and build strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Advise leadership on ethical implications and societal impact of technological advancements
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in anticipating tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience building cross-functional innovation frameworks and managing R&D pipelines
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their commercial applications
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact in previous roles
