Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for emerging tech adoption across healthcare, mobility, and energy sectors
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough technologies
- Advise C-suite on ethical implications and societal impact of future tech deployments
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Present strategic vision at global tech summits and investor forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-disciplinary innovation teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published thought leadership on quantum computing, AGI, or biotech convergence
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, upcoming 2026 regulations)
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Deep network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar forward-thinking organizations
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and systems architecture
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
