Job Description
Join the Future of Intelligence at Zai Horizon.
We are pioneering the next generation of autonomous AI agents, designed to operate seamlessly in complex, multi-modal environments. As we prepare for the 2026 technology roadmap, we are seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to build the neural infrastructure of tomorrow.
Why Join Us?
At Zai Horizon, we don't just predict the future; we build it. You will work with top-tier researchers and engineers to deploy cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents that redefine human-computer interaction.
Key Areas of Impact:
- Architect scalable AI infrastructures capable of processing billions of tokens in real-time.
- Develop Agentic Workflows where AI autonomously executes complex tasks with minimal human oversight.
- Bridge the gap between Generative AI and deterministic control systems.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement the core neural network architecture for our flagship Agentic AI products, focusing on scalability, low-latency inference, and energy efficiency.
- Model Development: Lead the fine-tuning and optimization of proprietary Large Language Models using state-of-the-art techniques such as LoRA, P-Tuning, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Research Integration: Stay ahead of the curve by integrating emerging technologies from the 2026 research landscape, including Neural Interfaces and Synthetic Data generation.
- Code Governance: Establish best practices for code quality, CI/CD pipelines for ML models, and rigorous testing protocols to ensure production stability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI division.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate technical requirements into user-centric AI features.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, or Cognitive Science.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a Lead or Architect role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and distributed computing.
- Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
