Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of high-performance perception and decision-making algorithms for autonomous ground vehicles.
- Collaborate with data scientists and hardware engineers to optimize sensor fusion strategies using LIDAR, radar, and camera arrays.
- Implement and maintain real-time control systems that ensure vehicle stability and path planning efficiency.
- Establish and enforce rigorous software quality assurance and safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF) across the engineering team.
- Drive technical roadmaps to achieve our 2026 operational deployment milestones.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically focused on robotics, autonomous systems, or computer vision.
- Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning applied to robotics.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., CARLA, Gazebo) and deployment on embedded hardware.
