Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms and error correction protocols that integrate seamlessly with classical computing environments.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of talented software engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of the curve in quantum computing trends, evaluating emerging hardware (e.g., superconducting qubits, photonic systems) to determine optimal integration strategies.
- Project Management: Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from initial concept and prototyping to deployment and maintenance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize system performance, latency, and throughput to meet rigorous industry standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically focused on quantum computing or advanced distributed systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust. Experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane is essential.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-stakes projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical proposals to diverse audiences.
