Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Manage the daily workflow of the night shift, ensuring all production and logistics targets are met efficiently and on time.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics, implementing corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Reporting & Communication: Generate and present detailed operational reports to the Senior Management team and coordinate seamless handovers with day shift supervisors.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize inventory and equipment usage during the night shift to reduce waste and maximize throughput.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of operations management experience, preferably in a corporate or logistics setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
- San Diego Residency: Must reside within the San Diego metropolitan area.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
