Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the night shift workforce to ensure operational excellence and strict adherence to company protocols.
- Monitor daily production metrics and quality assurance standards to minimize errors and maximize output.
- Address operational challenges immediately and implement effective solutions to maintain workflow continuity.
- Conduct regular shift briefings to align the team with organizational goals and safety protocols.
- Review and analyze operational reports to identify trends and opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with day-shift leadership to ensure a smooth transition and handover of operations.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized working environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management or a related corporate field.
- Proven leadership experience specifically managing teams during night shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability during off-hours.
