Responsibilities
- Lead & Mentor: Supervise and guide a cross-functional team of 15+ employees during the night shift, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all night-time operational procedures to ensure maximum efficiency, minimal downtime, and adherence to corporate protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for both staff and assets throughout the night.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks during the night cycle and implement immediate solutions to mitigate risks and maintain workflow continuity.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports and operational summaries for the Day Shift leadership team to ensure seamless handovers.
- Resource Management: Manage inventory levels, equipment maintenance schedules, and staffing rotations to optimize resource allocation.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all night operations meet the highest standards of quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Night Shift Preference: Demonstrated ability and willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees and resolve conflicts effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between night and day operational teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data analysis tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shift schedules dynamically.
