Apex Operations Solutions is seeking an experienced Night Shift Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Lead Night Operations: Oversee the daily workflow of night shift teams to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all project milestones and operational goals.
- Team Coordination: Manage, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of 10+ employees, including shift supervisors and operational staff.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current night shift workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement innovative solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, error rates, and safety incidents, providing real-time reporting to upper management.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for night shift operations, facilitating clear communication between day teams and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience within a 24/7 or shift-based operational environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Certification: PMP, CAPM, or Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) and MS Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
