Innovate Solutions Group seeks a detail-oriented professional to bridge the gap between IT and business objectives, transforming complex data into actionable insights. This flexible 20-hour/week role offers remote options with occasional in-person collaboration at our downtown Denver hub.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities through data modeling and stakeholder interviews
- Create detailed requirement documents, user stories, and process flows for cross-functional teams
- Develop SQL queries and data visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to support strategic initiatives
- Facilitate workshops with department heads to define project scope and success metrics
- Document and communicate findings through executive summaries and stakeholder presentations
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions align with business goals
- Track KPIs and provide ongoing performance analysis for key business processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of business analysis experience with proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Strong background in process mapping and requirement documentation techniques
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating past BA projects and deliverables
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
