- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify optimization opportunities
- Gather and document stakeholder requirements through interviews and workshops
- Create detailed process flows, user stories, and functional specifications
- Develop KPI dashboards and performance metrics using SQL and Excel
- Facilitate requirements validation sessions with technical teams
- Prepare business cases with cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions
- Maintain and prioritize product backlog using JIRA or similar tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years of business analysis experience with part-time or project work
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong documentation skills with experience in process mapping
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license for occasional client site visits
