Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities in port logistics systems
- Translate stakeholder requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories
- Create data visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to communicate trends to executive teams
- Document business requirements and process flows using UML diagrams and flowcharts
- Support UAT testing and implementation of new maritime tracking solutions
- Conduct SWOT analyses for new market entry opportunities in Southern California
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years of business analysis experience with logistics/transportation industry focus
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one visualization tool (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong experience documenting requirements in JIRA or similar platforms
- Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive presentations
