The Role:
As our Weekend Project Manager, you will be the bridge between our operational teams and leadership. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision and that stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Lead Weekend Operations: Spearhead and oversee all project activities and operations specifically scheduled for the weekend shift to ensure seamless execution.
- Team Coordination: Manage and mentor a cross-functional team, ensuring clear communication, role clarity, and high morale during off-hours.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and bottlenecks early in the weekend schedule and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide detailed status updates and performance reports to senior management and clients every Saturday evening.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team resources to maximize productivity and efficiency during the weekend timeframe.
- Process Improvement: Analyze weekend workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading weekend or shift-based operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Tools: Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Teams).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and troubleshooting.
