Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-neural network architectures
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for real-world enterprise applications
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into patentable quantum-AI products
- Mentor postdoctoral fellows and PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum migration strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with IBM Quantum or similar platforms
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing federal research funding
- Experience leading teams of 10+ technical researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy milestones
