Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network architectures for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum algorithm performance
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants and patents
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead open-source quantum AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with published papers
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) integration
- Track record of securing NSF/NIH grants or industry funding
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
