Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms that exponentially accelerate AI training and inference processes
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural architectures for predictive modeling
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction for scalable AI systems
- Collaborate with ethics teams to implement bias mitigation in quantum-AI frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA grants for 2026 quantum-AI roadmap execution
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC) and GPU acceleration
