Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with physicists to implement error-correction protocols on real quantum hardware
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions for enterprise clients
- Lead open-source quantum algorithm libraries with 50k+ developer community
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Innovation Fellowship program
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Quantum Information and IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Published research in quantum machine learning or cryptography
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or trapped-ion systems
- Strong problem-solving skills for NP-hard optimization challenges
