Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Drive quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into engineering specifications
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
