Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Implement error correction protocols and optimization algorithms for quantum systems
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical quantum models into functional code
- Lead the integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware platforms and technologies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and conduct technical workshops
- Develop documentation and patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, error correction, and decoherence
- Proven experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in top quantum computing journals/conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
