Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum error correction and coherence optimization
- Establish industry partnerships to prototype quantum solutions for finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Define quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Author technical whitepapers and roadmaps for quantum adoption in enterprise environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum research
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and error correction techniques
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
